Current time in cities around the world
This world clock shows the live local time, the date and day or night for 24 major cities across Asia, Europe, North America, Africa and Australia. It updates every second and uses the official time zone data built into your browser, so daylight saving changes are handled automatically. Use the 24-hour button to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time.
Why a world clock helps
- Calls and meetings: find a time that works for people in different countries.
- Family and friends abroad: check if it is a good time to call.
- Remote work and clients: know when your team or customers are online.
- Travel: see the local time at your destination before you fly.
- Trading and events: follow market hours and live event times in other regions.
How to read the cards
Each card shows the city, a sun or moon icon, the current time and the date there. The thin bar at the bottom shows how much of that city's day has passed, from midnight on the left to the next midnight on the right. The sun icon is shown from 6 AM to 6 PM local time and the moon icon at night.
Time zones and daylight saving
Some countries, such as Pakistan, Dubai and Singapore, keep the same offset all year. Others, such as the UK, the USA and Australia, change their clocks in spring and autumn. Because this page reads the time zone rules from your device, the times stay correct without you doing anything.
Frequently asked questions
What time is it in Pakistan now?
Karachi and Lahore are at the top of the world clock and show the current Pakistan Standard Time (UTC+5). Pakistan does not use daylight saving time.
Does the world clock adjust for daylight saving time?
Yes. It uses the time zone data in your browser, so cities such as London, New York and Sydney change automatically when their clocks change.
How do I find the time difference between two cities?
Compare the two city cards. The difference between the times shown is the current time difference, including any daylight saving.
Can I see 24-hour time?
Yes. Press the 24-hour time button to switch all cities to 24-hour format.
Is the world clock free?
Yes. It is free, has no ads and does not need a sign-up.
